For this week's Friday Finds on IGTV, I went to Uniqlo. With over 1000 stores globally, this Japanese clothing brand is one you’ve no doubt heard of - but maybe not one you’ve considered shopping at until now.
With a huge range of clothing both online or in one of their many physical shops; Uniqlo is one that I consistently recommend to my clients as a go-to for basics, staple items and general wardrobe essentials.
If you don’t have the biggest budget, but need to pad out your wardrobe Uniqlo is a must. The quality is great - particularly in regards to their merino wool, cashmere, feather down and heat tech pieces.
Stylist Secret: If you are to visit Uniqlo in-store, head there first thing in the morning. Due to the volume of stock it can feel a little overwhelming as the shop floor can get a little messy and, despite their slight differences, the design can seem repetitive. FYI - their flagship (and my personal favourite) store is on Oxford St, opposite John Lewis.
Also, it’s worth noting their fantastic alterations service: alterations are free on all bottoms priced £19.90 and above at the time of purchase. For all bottoms priced under £19.90, the cost of an alteration is £3.00 per pair. Please note that each individual pair of jeans will need to be priced at £19.90 for you to be eligible for a free alteration.
Below is my selection of this seasons must haves. Thanks for reading, and don’t hesitate to let me know how you get on…
